For verification I created a new user and added an IMAP account. The
addressbook was empty. When replying to an e-mail, the addressbook is filled
with a new contact.
I can try to deinstall and reinstall evolution and see if that helps.
Any other ways to debug?

same "rejecting I/O to dead device" error for sda after trying konrad's
fix. (fstab is using UUID).

looks like you are getting two modes for
Daniel, are you sure that my bug is really a duplicate of bug #138853?
To me it seems wrong. I have successfully installed (patched) package
and it configures fine, the problem is actually with dpkg-reconfigure.
Directory /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree gets deleted in prerm, but then
it is _not_creat
there is one thing also very important to say here when we create new
folder that will remain as untitled folder no renaming possible on my
gutsy both events are in gutsy in fiesty (on another hard disk of same
computer ) no problem like this

some movies are playing in a separate totem window, is I click in the

Tested on Ubuntu Gutsy tribe 6, Gparted ver. 0.3.3-2ubuntu3
I can open Gparted while my 250 Gb Iomega external USB HD with 1 fat32
partition and 1 ext3 partition, no matter they are mounted or umounted (
I tested the two ).

When you say, "FOREVER", I'm assuming that's wrong, as if it were true,
you'd still be waiting for both the seeable and unseeable future. Where
was it slow? getting the packages? Building the image? How long did it
take, exactly?
