I would like to add my voice to this. I have a SRX51P/B and the
downloaded Gutsy install CD-ROM (the standard one) refuses to boot

The vpn-network-manager still does not function. I try each time o connect via
this GUI, but it does not seem to do anything.
It would be nice one writes a vpn-manager, wich allows the root to set up vpn
and usual users to connect to these vpn manually/at boot time.
Try disabling Xinerama in your configuration file. I had a similar
problem and it turned out that Xinerama was causing the RANDR extension
to be missing even though the Xorg logs reported that the extension was
loaded.
I still have to figure out a way to have both Xinerama and RANDR
working.

I did a fresh gutsy install from the ISO CD-ROM. After the first
upgrade, update-manager offers the distribution upgrade to me as well.
