I was running Gutsy since summer, and had no trouble with the clock. It
seemed to change from summer time correctly (CEST to CET), but at some
point (last week?) it changed back one hour (saying 8:00 instead of 9:00

No wonder, the decorator code expects to find shadow_offset_x/y while
the gconf and ccsm code uses shadow_x/y_offset.
Here's a fix for gconf and ccsm.
The patch also changes the limit on shadow radius from 18.0 to 48.0 as the
decorators happily handle values up to 48.0.

I believe that this problem has been corrected in Ubuntu 7.10 OpenOffice
2.3.0. Please try the updated version and let me know if it solves your
