I would guess that Egon also has the X3100 card. In which case this bug

All right, then, after trying different ways out from this bug I did
install the new beta x86_64-169.04.
It's too early to say how it's doing, but it's smooth for now. I'd also
bet that 100.14.09 would do the trick as well as It was working fine
before Gutsy became release and added 100.14.19.
I use Gutsy now.
The problem no longer appears.
It was solved months ago, with a new version of skype.

I came up with a change that appears to fix it. But I don't know
the vim code and X enough to say whether it's the correct way
to fix it. But at least, it no longer crashes.

1. kde-guidance and kpowersave both suffer from this, indicating it's coming

These problems are due to the package being built with upstream's old,
broken, and basically unmaintained debian/ directory. The previous
Debian and Ubuntu packages totally replace it with their own versions.

I have the same problem with totem-xine, I use 1280x1024 and 75Hz but
when I go fullscreen it changes to 60Hz. I didn't notice this bug until
I started running Gusty too.

Oops during boot. Usually it results in a hang that can be resolved by
killing everything (either CTRL-ALT-DELETE or ALT-SYSRQ-K) then mounting

Hi, I have very similar problem with bcm43xx wifi. My network-manager
randomly drops connection and can't connect again. When I choose my AP
manually from the list, only bottom point is green, and after long time
it asks me about password. Sometimes rmmod bcm43xx and loading module
again helps,
I can confirm this bug. I am using gutsy, nvidia graphics with
restricted drivers and compiz enabled.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Login as user A
2. System-Quit-Switch User
3. Login as user B
4. System-Quit-Switch User
5. Relogin an user A
