TTBOMK JabRef doesn't work with any of the free Java VMs that are
packaged in Debian; it should work with icedtea in Ubuntu but I can't
add that to the Depends: of the Debian package because it's not yet in

I tried uninstalling network manager and connecting manually but it didn't help
at all.
Nothing changed.
My steps:
- I boot the Ubuntu 7.10 live CD
- I go to Applications-- Add/Remove, uncheck Network Manager (i.e. uninstall)

Originally i believed that blue tooth was part of the problem, so i
completely removed it. Removed the modules, removed the daemons, removed
from sessions, removed all references. The problem still exists.
I switched back to Gentoo for now. The Dev's haven't even taken a stab
at this.
