Resolved by downgrading. Version 2.6.22-14.38 results in a kernel Oops.

This problem just popped up the other day. I am running Compiz with
emerald and awn on an up-to-date Gutsy install with Nvidia drivers.
Whenever I open a window (regardless of whether emerald is running or
not), its title bar gets placed behind the main menu bar, and I am

"Fix/Released". They applied the security patches to 1.2, rather than
