In Gutsy, fulled updated to 2008-01-21, using the Move To Another
Workspace, the window gets moved to an incorrect 'desk' or workspace.
This only occurs when using Compiz, or Appearance:
Minimal/Standard/Custom
Example:
User/window currently in Desk 2
I apologize; I forgot that HTML can't read whitespace... I don't know
how to force space without using nbsp; so pretend each of those
vertical bars represents the beginning and ending of a workspace/desk.
There should be 4 in total.

I too am experiencing this in Hardy with 2.6.24 when I was not in Gutsy
merely an hour ago. My optical drive (a Plextor PX-740A, connected as
master to my only IDE controller as /dev/hda) is empty to start with,
refuses to open once in Ubuntu (but works fine elsewhere), and I receive

Solved (mostly). Sorry about the confusion. This bug (?) apparently
was caused by a misconfiguration somewhere in the depths of my '.kde'
directory tree. My kmail had begun to act strangely which is why I
tried to upgrade to gutsy. The mistake was revealed when I created a
new user and logged
gnome-control-center wasn't yet updated to 2.21.5 in the ubuntu hardy
repos.

I took a look at the scripts, and it would mean changing them quite a
bit, since if the build host is 64bit it won't even touch the 32bit pkg.
Not worth the effort.

Actually this was not completely fixed in feisty, either. But anyway,
the fix for the issue is pending. The translations are there now, but
the remaining issue seems to be that of the unset gettext domain in
some situation(s).
