Looks very good, just a couple of questions:
1. Why it is needed to port this to GTK2.0 (note that both GTK1.2 and 2.0 are
in hardy)
2. Why is gdk-imlib dropped?
3. It seems that patch 03_port_to_gtk2.dpatch was not made with dpatch, even
though its using the dpatch extension?

/proc/asound/cards, it should be assigned to alsa-lib. If it is not even

I have just upgraded my system to ubuntu hardy with kernel 2.6.24-11-powerpc
and i can confirm that the harddrive is detected during boot.
However /dev/hda3 was not created and i had to create it manually with "mknod
/dev/hda3 b 3 3" when dropped to initramfs shell. After exiting initramfs shell

Actually I had this problem today with a fresh Gutsy installation on a
PC. It is not my machine, so I can't get more information than I will

problems, but with the Live CD.

The Hardy Heron Alpha series was recently released which contains an
updated version of the kernel. You can download and try the new Hardy
Heron Alpha release from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/hardy/ .
You should be able to then test the new kernel via the LiveCD. If you
can, please verify

Noticed this as well. g-v-m is ignoring my settings for importing
photo's from my camera. I need to pass -b and -i to f-spot. I have
completely removed my custom settings from the Digital Camera command
line and I tail .xsession-errors when I attach my cameras memory card it
looks like it g-v-m s
