I have the same issue as Shwan as well on Hardy
I can copy files from a Maxtor Shared Storage drive mounted wiith Samba,
but I cannot copy folders. I get the exact same permission denied
error in the Nautilus window.

When opening a multipage TIFF document, evince shows the first page of the

cairo_path_extents was added in cairo 1.5.8. So your system library is
the right version (1.6.0 ) BUT you've another version of Cairo in
/usr/local/lib which is probably too old.
This may be the culprit.
You can either uninstall the /usr/local/lib if you don't use it version
or upgrade your
xorg.conf resulting from choosing xfix during X restart is attached.

I was able to reproduce the behavior shown at kostas' video (
http://www.mediafire.com/?minxmz1m4nv ). Pasting a series of images from
firefox to writer caused writer to crash a while after it started
downloading and showing them.
