On my custom 2.6.24.3 kernel (in which suspend works) I have this option

Same flow here in Hardy.
1. use nautilus to connect to ftp server.
a. can drag files there
b. can edit (gedit) files there etc.
2. Open openoffice to create a file and save from within the dialog box ie Save
As--Point to the Folder/Mount in Nautilus and then all just freezes in

1. Make sure you have the initramfs-tools update
2. sudo blkid
3. Check that swap line UUID from /etc/fstab matches swap UUID from step 2, if
not change fstab.
4. Check that the UUID in /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume

When you say that you cannot get sound from flash, are you referring to
flash 9? Currently, our only sane options are:
1. Flash 9 + libflashsupport + nspluginwrapper. This is suboptimal as it
does not prevent flash from crashing, it merely provides a layer of
protection to prevent Firefox
To be honest I don't remember exactly what I was having a problem with
at this point. I've since upgraded to Hardy so the bug (if any) is long
gone from my system. Feel free to close...

kernel? Beyond that, I would highly appreciate if you could make the
source available - one of my issues is that my AMD installation reports

Also does not work on my desktop. I changed this to confirmed as many
people have seen the same issue. I also confirmed that booting with the
2.6.24-16 linux kernel fixed the issue, so this is definitely related to
the recent updates to 2.6.24-17.
