From me? No. The page you linked to doesn't help me with the smbclient
problem, as the -t flag just works on the server. Installing and
setting the Samba server up isn't really an option for everyone.

I'm now using Ubuntu Desktop 8.04 (Hardy), upgraded from 7.10 (Gutsy).
It's still not working: gnome prompts for the password, and after I
supply it, gives me the error Unable to set up crypto device.
Following the guides I mentioned in my last post resulted in the

libqt4-gui, and every GUI application using it, including qtconfig, was

I checked with the 3.0rc1 and update language packs (20080527) in hardy-
proposed. Unfortunately the xulrunner Finnish language pack is still
broken for printing. Unpacking the xulrunner-1.9-fi.jar reveals that
locale/fi/global/printProgress.dtd still has the non-correct !ENTITY

thanks, but i don't think it has nothing to do with file-roller, if you
unzip the file with the command line utility (unzip) you get the same
results, not a file-roller bug, probably something broken on the windows
encoding. thanks you.

Here is the step-by-step process by which I was able to get Firefox
working with flash beta 10 + pulseaudio (it stopped the crashes - yay!).
In this tutorial I've merely cobbled together in one place suggestions
scattered around on this forum.
Best thing I even did was remove network-manager and install WiCD. There
is just no comparison, network-manager has always, in my opinion been
the poor cousin of WicCD.

Ah, I see - which repository are the empiatech driver in? So far, I only
found the v4l drivers, and with these I run into the keyboard and hald
issues ...
I tried the -16 mods on the -16 kernel, but the modules get installed in
