Rudolf,
Thanks for your clarification. In my previous post

the option security = user only refer to the Samba server setting. I
have positive proof that this option on the server indeed fix the
authentication problem for
if i am offline or have the little mail icon applet online all my processor
ressources are taken by mail-notification. If i remove the applet the CPU usage
instantly decrease to normal usage.
I'am using hardy. Do you need more informations about my system ?
Thanks.

mail-notifcation hogging
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: compiz
Using hardy, compiz does not use mipmaps for at least switcher, enhanced
zoom and scale and thus makes scaled textures look pixelized. Expo
however looks fine. I enabled mimaps in ccsm for the plugins that
allowed it (filter linear for zoom).
I see now that the report might be irrelevant since there is an option Texture
Filter in General that makes textures look the way I want.
However, this should not be used different in the plugins but maybe there
should only be one texture filter option in general and no misleading mipmap
This crash occurs in my current intrepid system with

I am also seeing this behaviour
We see it because by default sshfs does not include the '-o idmap=user'
option to translate the ownership of the remote files to that of the
local user
I propose that Tomboy should append '-o idmap=user' to the sshfs command
it uses, i.e.
/usr/bin/sshfs -p 22
Due to lack of '-o idmap=user' in sshfs command

As much as I hate to reopen a ticket, this is still an issue; I can't
believe anyone else hasn't brought it up. I have ran into this problem
on a slew of different hardware setups since Feisty and including Hardy.
Steps to reproduce are exactly how jclemon describes. This may be an
upstream bug

I'm closing my own bug. rc1 is now in hardy-updates, and there have been
no other reports of this issue. I have since started a fresh ~/.mozilla
folder and the Wikipedia search engine was there on startup. I think
it's safe to say it was either user error somehow, or a very minor
upgrade issue
