The debian buglog mentions that LILO can't boot over 8MB of initramfs on
some systems, depending on BIOS. Their solution is MODULES=dep. Since
update-initramfs is running at the end of the installation, seems doable.

-doxytags cannot parse the documentation from this version of Qt, this is a bug

I agree, this is gtkmathview problem, but when you just install older
gtkmathview there is no insert euqation.

Unfortunately the suggestion from comment 133 does not make a difference.
As Brian observed above, there's no config file in ~/.vmware.
I tried both creating one and adding the content suggested and adding it to
/etc/vmware/config, none of which worked.

Removing the code that causes the trouble is not really a proper solution IMO.
Plus I can't reproduce this bug, which can come from other components (xfwm, X
driver, etc...).
