I'm having same issue on hardy on two different computers, one 32bit, one
64bit.
I am using ubuntu on a mdraid system, and additionally use part of the dmraid
for ubuntu two.
I can not use UUID because it is not unique.

I have the same issue on Hardy 32 bit with all updates: Firefox's window
decoration disappears randomly, several times a day. (It actually
disappeared when I navigated to this page here.)
My workaround is to hit F11 (full screen) twice. The first activates
full-screen mode, and the second

I can confirm that this bug is still there.
While booting, in the first few seconds (between 0 and 1, according to dmesg)
the message of
ACPI: EC: non-query interrupt received, switching to interrupt mode
is shown. The system appears to hang shortly after and does not respond. When
pressing
Perfect, now I've built the package with phonon as well.
Could this change be added? Since When we need to use phonon fro Qt4 and not
from KDE, this is needed.

I have the same problem. I have a Compaq nx8220 with an intel(R)
pro/wireless 2200bg network connection. After the upgrade to
2.6.24-21-generic, the wireless device was not anymore found. As I start
2.6.41-20 or earlier, there are no problems.

I am currently waiting for bug #260464 to be resolved. The rest is
finished. Debian package is already on the queue [1] for two months, but
was a long time during that period unable to build due to a bug in
Debian [2], I hope it will receive some attention soon.
At the moment the thing I can do

remove the -i flag from the /etc/init.d/reboot and /etc/init.d/halt

Please do the changes via patches rather than directly change the source,
otherwise it's awful to maintain them.

I think p7zip should be installed by default in next ubuntu release (intrepid).
It allows compressing/decompressing in .7z format.
