I can confirm this. I'm using Intrepid Alpha6 on a Dell Studio 1535 with
the same video card. The funny thing is, sometimes it boots up
correctly, but some times the screen gets messed up with red/orange and
the booting hangs. I have to turn off my notebook by pressing the
shutdown button for 5 sec

When I use s2both, hibernate and resume works, on kernel 2.6.27-3. But
when I use s2disk, it doesn't come up again. It stops, displaying fuse
init (API version 7.9) (booted without the quiet kernel parameter).

I am now running 8.04.1 and this no longer appears to happen. I have
KDE 3.5.10 installed, and after creating a new user and logging in as
that new user I see KDE 3.5.10.

I had been using the Interpid kernel for a while, and it worked okay
with ipw2200. Problems coming back from hibernation, and NetworkManager
would have some issues, but it worked at least some of the time. Now the
card still seems to work, but I get this message a /lot/ (600 times in
about 30 minut
