I'm experiencing the same problems on FZ21E and Intrepid A6
Changing the brightness from the nvidia driver panel is working well, but it
doesn't work from the keys, so I wonder if it is realy a nvidia driver issue ??
** Summary changed:
- [Hardy] Brightness keys on Sony Vaio FE31Z doesn't work
for now its not a firefox issue.
** Changed in: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu)
Status: New = Invalid

Still happens with 2.6.27-4.5 on AMD64:
[ 3472.484065] INFO: task mutt:32170 blocked for more than 120 seconds.
[ 3472.484077] echo 0 /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs disables this
message.
[ 3472.484082] mutt D 0002 0 32170 1
[ 3472.484090]
It would be good to report the Oops to a separate report. It's better to
have those types of bugs fixed, because using things like irqpoll to
work around other problems should only be regarded as an interim
measure.
Thanks

booting is slow (~ 8 minutes) in hardy
This issue doesn't occur in Intrepid Alpha6 for me. As for LTS it's
still broken unless the X conf is modified by hand or autologin is
disabled. The solution is somewhere out there, but I couldn't find any
in freedesktop or other's bugzillas.

no easy way to get alternative (switch) plugins for flash
most parts of the fix are already in intrepid. when having multiple
flash plugins installed and visiting a site with flash on it you get a
plugin symbol in the firefox status bar (bottom-right). when clicking
there you can change the preferred player for used mime-types.
