I'd be suprised if GRUB is ever able to boot from RAID10. That type of
heavy block swapping logic would be very out of place in GRUB... and
you'd not be able to get the boot sector working right anyways. The
/boot partition will need to be a mirror or plain partition. I don't see
this changing.

I didn't install oxygen icons by myself. It's the default icons set in
KDE4. I suppose it's in the kde-icons-oxygen package. I have some KDE
applications installed in Gnome, so oxygen icons are just in the choices

Same at me, just that I have cable FTTH connection and not wireless. So I don't
know if this is the same problem.
It died yesterday and some time ago. The first time I managed to get it back on
with hard reset on my modem.
No even that doesn't help.

Thanks for your comment. According to the fact that the problem
disappeared by itself and that I was not able to reproduce it on a fresh
intrepid installation, I set the status to invalid. This sounds more
like GNOME not correctly updating menus until it is restarted.
