Hi,
This does not look like a bug to me. The third color is only used in one

I am not sure if this helps, but maybe it works with the radeon driver, or

If you use Intrepid the radeonhd version will be too old, so you would have to

Originally this bug report did not refer to the automatic opening of
external content, it got hijacked. So it's not a duplicate of bug 33038.
When downloading files, firefox puts them to /tmp, instead of the
Desktop. This happens for files where you choose "open" instead of "save
as".

One thing, though: if it would be the intel driver, then this problem
should be fixed in Jaunty, but I have just confirmed that it is not
fixed. So, I'm still guessing it's a kernel issue, but I'm sure someone
here knows this for sure...

Public bug reported:
After a fresh 8.10 install, I have set up Nvidia driver, managed to boot
and log in. I then enable the "advanced desktop features" from the
desktop. When rebooting I cannot start the x server and I get a black
screen after the ubuntu logo loads with the orange back in the midd

This happens because GDM is started before Hal. They fixed it for KDM by
making it 99th. So, I just did the same with GDM.
This is the how:
sudo update-rc.d -f gdm remove
sudo update-rc.d gdm defaults 99 01

I'm having the same issue. Specifically on google. Here is what my
homepage looks like in google. On other sites the graphics display fine.
I'm guessing the issue is not with ubuntu but firefox 3 on linux in
general.

Here's a shell script which can act as a workaround. At least
it seems to be working for me with ifplugd.
Just ifplugd -i wlan0 -r
This must is related to the dependencies. Install libnss-ldap and it
will go ok. Ill make a patch for it. If it continues throwing bugs, tell
me and ill make a patch for the real problem.
See you.
