I have already purchased a new router to replace the belkin that does
not play nice with IPV6 , however I do not think that this is a way that

What does your script look like, and where did you put it? I tried to do
the same, but it did not work. I attach my script, which I put in
/etc/pm/sleep.d/50wacres. The output redirections in there tell me that
it does get run, and as root.

Hi. I have used kubuntu for one year and that is the first time I confirm a
bug. I was using kubuntu hardy with my webcam working perfectly. But after a
clean install of kubuntu intrepid my webcam can't correctly work with the usual
program (skype, vlc, kopete, etc). The images became weird.

I've modified /etc/gdm/gdm.conf and restarted. Everything seems normal.
As an added bonus the locked screen feature is working.
I always thought that Xubuntu had terribly limited functionality, but
now it seems ok. Xubuntu even has a graphical file searching app (as of
8.10) which is called
Thomas Creuz's ppa workes perfectly for me with a GeForce 6600 GT. No more
title bar glitches

source and is developed by adobe. To get it fixed we would need to get
an adobe developer to work on it. I think adobe has a bugtracker for
flash it would be good to make sure this is reported there because there

Hot switching video cards on linux will not be possible without a
restart of X - the mechanism just doesn't exist at this time. So, we
won't be able to reproduce what Vista does without huge code changes in
X. What we can hope for is to get the nVidia card to initialise when

Hi everyone and thanks for support. I use to get good informations on
Launchpad.net on several issues, however, in few times, I was in the
position that I got clear informations about the issue but sadly it
didn't help me solve it. It would be very helpful if someone could guide
me on applying the

I have an existing ATI 740G motherboard with an SB700 chipset. I had no
USB problems under 8.04.1, including the most recent kernel upgrades.
About 3 weeks ago I did a fresh install (and on a new hard-drive) of
