You can try collecting the stack trace by running digikam with "gdb".
Just start digikam under gdb by executing "gdb digikam" in command line.
When gdb starts, type "r" and Enter. Then try to reproduce.
When program crashes, you can type "backtrace" which will provide you
the stack trace.

Here is a valgrind log. I dunno if it used that much ram this time
(inclusive valgrind 500 mb). Would be interesting which caused the main
ram usage (if a developer could look at this I am very thankful)

I experience exactly the same warnings while purging phpldapadmin and
then reinstalling it again.
Besides being a bit untidy I'm not sure how much of a problem this is.
phpldapadmin still seems to work fine after the reinstall.

I found a temporaly and dirty fix.
Rename de config folder for transmission and when it start then it
generate a new folder "clean"
$ mv ~/.config/transmission ~/.config/transmission_backup
$ transmission
Then start transmission.

I suspect that this is the correct package, based on the log report
containing "libgnome-window-settings1 1:2.24.0.1-0ubuntu7.1" which I
believe to be relevant to this bug.
Note that this is pure, unmitigated guess-work. If you know better,

I'm running Intrepid, and like zcrar70 did not have the problem under
Hardy.
I've found if I close the first dialog box twice, and the Ctl-C the
command-line, the next time I try it it works fine. Weird.

In "Input method" checked "enable support for complex characters", (I've
translated it from italian).
Maybe this should be the default?
