Shouldn't this bug be marked as critical? For those who types hours
a day, the repeat rate/speed is directly related to productivity, isn't
it?
I've just upgraded to Intrepid for two days and I am seriously
considering moving back to Hardy just because of this keyboard repeat
rate issue.
Confirmed for me too, in intrepid and jaunty, 32 and 64.
Using Metacity, bug visible with liferea, gwibber, rhythmbox, deluge but
strangely, xchat is fine.
Not sure where to assign this bug. As it impacts both C Python apps, i would
go to gtk2.

the radeontool-package from Jaunty
(http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/radeontool) installed it and used
that instead, that way I didn't have to compile anything. I presume that

yes i'm the same problem in intrepid now and the 9.04 alpha 3. This work
ok after backup a working evolution an restore in new installation.

Doesn't appear to be any Ubuntu specific changes between 2.6.28-2 and
2.6.28-3, are you sure this is the work/not-work break? There is re-
