Testing on the same eee 901 netbook with the same monitor, dual booting between
alpha 3 and alpha 4:
- Jaunty alpha3: coldplug works, hotplug works

The Compiz Ring Switcher's window filter does nothing. Under 'Misc.
Options', any changes made to 'Ring Windows' has no effect. I added a
not condition (!) against window class, title, etc. to no avail.
I also tried removing every option in
Confirm, ubiquity dialogues are unusable on netbook 1024x600 panel since
Alpha4.
In Jaunty Alpha 3 dialogues were OK.
Seems to be related to the new feature of Alpha 4: Font Size

I have the same problem since Hardy 2.6.24-23 kernel update (2.6.24-22
is OK when selected in grub), with a laptop integrated Intel 3945 wifi
board. Mostly at startup.
Logs only shows association/deassociation cycles with the WPA2 AP
(working perfectly at the same moment with a nearby EeePC+XP...
Can't add any wallpaper directories. Created a test enviroment with one
wallpaper path containing a single jpg file a.jpg .
e.g. adding this directory -
