My system is right now (on 2009-03-29) up to date for Jaunty. The
problem still occurs.
The problem happens during waking up after a Suspend. The falling into
sleep seems to work properly, meaning that at the end the Power-LED is
slowly blinking.

Thanks for helping. If you look in /var/crash, the apport log may be
there. If so, you could attach it as a separate attachment. Most of the
information required would be included in the log file. Otherwise, we
can close this report since apport will file a new report when this
happens again.
This is a part of the previous log after launching and exiting Wesnoth
in 800x600 fullscreen mode. The desktop has a 1024x768 resolution.
After exiting Wesnoth the actual view area shows only small part of the

Tested on another computer with 2GB RAM, no swap space used but same
problem. Nautilus seems to load the whole video file (1.2GB size) in
memory, then doing some kind of elaboration which hangs the system. I

Hello, I have obtained this exact report by Apport today in Kubuntu 9.04 beta.
I was applying some updates in which python packages were included.
I think it happens while python packages are updated, many other python
applications also crashed in the same moment.

I have obtained this report from Apport today in Kubuntu 9.04 beta.
I think this bug may be a duplicate of Bug #26857.
Many python applications crash when python packages are updated.
