This is already pretty close to being supported. You can:
- run `totem /path/to/dir` from bash
- drag a directory from nautilus into totem's playlist sidebar
- right-click on the directory in nautilus and open it with totem
It would be nice if totem could do this within its own ui, though.

USB device is attached to /dev/ttyUSB0 when I plug it in USB port. But
when I suspend to RAM and resume, it gets attached to /dev/ttyUSB1.
Consequently, the daemon configured using /dev/ttyUSB0 does not work

The version of ffmpeg-debian which appears to fix this has been accepted

This might have been a weird combination of nat effects and kopete
behaviour. With the kopete version currently in jaunty, i cannot
reproduce this, and can receive files well.
