First I have installed install_flash_player_10_linux.deb and unistalled
flashplugin-nonfree but I didn't resolved the problem and the version of flash

instead of NetworkManager, WOL still does not work.
HOWEVER, booting and then halting on hardy kernel (2.6.27-11) with no other
change at all allows my computer to wake up.

I have tried to isolate the problem, the cpu hogging occurs whether gedit is
the only running application launched by me personally or not. I am not using
any font hintning, and only font grayscale smoothing, all visual effects turned
off.

Thee problem is atm my jaunty shuts down fine with the kernel it is on.
It is a older kernel but i will try the above kernel, that does not help
me with karmic using version 2.6.28-11-.42-generic since 43 is not
offered we are now using 2.6.30 and .42 is the lowest kermic goes. I
will boot to

Can someone with a clue take another look at this? I also came from
Debian and am using JFS (a supported option via the alternate installer)
and this bug renders my system unbootable from battery on unclean
shutdown. It is a bug, plain and simple. fsck needs to be run on every
boot, on battery
