completely with sysv-rc-conf and rebooting gave a working key. So I've
just uninstalled the hotkey-setup packages and all works fine now.

Both gmcs and gmcs2 are available on the system and the error remains.
This is really nasty because the only way I can use mono for web in the
moment is to run xsp2 directly and not via apache and I think this is not
a good idea if I would like to use the software for a productive system.

Thanks for the report, it looks like a bad dvd disc, could you try with
another one? otherwise it could be a problem with growisofs as per the
logs:

We are still waiting for vtk to be fixed in Debian. If it isn't fixed in
a reasonable time, I'll proceed patching vtk in Ubuntu, to allow syncing

maybe the user refers to the fact that in current version baobab Help
fails to start.

Another workaround could be to fix hal so it changes mountpoint owner
dynamically to the user's UID, keeping the 755 permissions.

I think this is a good decision. There should be somewhere in home where
all previous wallpapers are stored, so that you can revert to previously
