Clocksource tsc unstable leads to lockups in Ubuntu Jaunty
Well, something odd happened today in my sys.log. I started the computer
at about 10:56. It suddenly froze to biege (the color of my Firefox
window) at 11:33. REISUB didn't work; I hit the reset button.
Looking at my sys.log, there is a restart shown at 11:19, 11:24, and

Fresh upgrade of Jaunty and the issue is still the for me. In Hardy and
Intrepid I could reboot with the medium in the drives and burn using
Nautilus. Jaunty recognizes them on boot at start up but is not seeing
the blank disk in any burning program. I'm fairly new to Ubuntu, only
since Gutsy.
According to the log it says there is no space left on the device, could
the reason for this be something to do with the fact I'm using a live cd
and not yet installed?

as a game controller. Also, the joystick_lshal call did not pick it up

Hello, I had the same problem after reinstalling jaunty because of
problems between KDE and Gnome in the same machine. When I tried rmmod
psmouse I got an error so I checked modules. The problem was I have
kernel 2.6.28-13 but I had the directory /lib/modules/2.6.28-11-generic.

Today, kernel 2.6.31 break everything : My external monitor is no longer
recognized.
I follow Karmic evolution and I will watch if things get back into shape.
With Kernel 2.6.30, things have improved and everything was almost fine :

Some times when copying a file in dolphin the new file is created in the new
location but the whole path is included in the filename.
e.g.
when copying file: readme.txt which resides in /home/user/Desktop
to the directory /tmp/ the filename

@Zelena: Well its fixed in that patch, but didn't look @ the change
needs to consider that nautilus optionally use tracker or beagle and
search for content is such cases yet :)

Great work. I agree with you guys -- we are only removing Open with
from items in the sub-menu; top-level Open with X entries retain Open
with but lose quotation marks.
