Regarding ati/radeon and the video not moving with the window when
compiz is used, I have a workaround:

I can confirm this bug.
If I look at Julian's comment in bug #384987 it is suggested that both
aufs-modules and aufs-sources should be removed from Karmic and AUFS2
should be used instead. It does however not look like AUFS2 is available
in Karmic.

This has to be one of the more obscure odd decisions made in Ubuntu.
I installed the package firefox-3.5 and went to run it (I use KDE4) - hit
Alt+F2 type firefox and both Firefox 2 and 3 turn up in KRunner results. No
trace of Firefox 3.5.
Check Kickoff and there is no trace of Firefox 3.5 in

Having some problem to boot:
used grub2, os-prober on 3 hdd: 2 pata 1 sata (sdb xp ntfs, sdc
jaunty32/karmic32 ext3, sda jaunty64 ext4)
The troubles does not exist before using grub2 os-prober.
- When i want to boot , it often fail: grub reboot or it freeze
I've found the problem, it's like Gordon Jin (upstream) said, the
problem it's with the virtual resolution when it's equal or higher than
2048.
I've tested every thing again in jaunty and Karmic alpha 2, but this
time with a sum of resolutions shorter than 2048 (1024x768 + 800x600;
