I am running Ubuntu on a Dell Inspiron 2650 Laptop. I installed Ubuntu
8.10 and it loaded without any problems. I updated to 9.04. When I did
that I was unable to boot with the new kernel, 2.6.28-13. I kept

I agree with the basic suggestion this ticket makes, but have no idea
what kind of icon to use that would intrinsically say BitTorrent
client. If someone were to submit an icon that did this, I'd consider
using it to follow the HiG, but IMO it's an impossible task.

I'm going to have to go with Kalle and say that the real solution is to
redesign the location bar. Also, I'm going to have to say that this
papercut is not a bug in any icon set, but with nautilus. You can't
change the icon without affecting other apps that use that icon
properly.

You are absolutely right. I had the misconception that the
/etc/udev/rules.d/usb-modeswitch.rules was generated from uncommented
entries in /etc/usb_modeswitch.conf, and therefore, only uncommented
devices would switch automatically.

Update: I seem to get the normal nautilus windows if I check
Edit-Preferences-Behavior-Always open in browser windows. But it
shows very minimal (like the screen shot in the forum thread) stuff if I
uncheck the same. I don't remember fiddling with that setting even while
nautilus was behaving

Hi, coretemp doesn't seems to work with Atom N270 processors.
However, I get it run by changing the line 419 of its source code from:

This bug report is not incomplete, all the information + strong user
support is here. Does anyone actually want the broken behavior on their

You are absolutely right on all your points.
I have 2 related to the bug udi:
1) Nvidia card pci

This bug is stating that the intel gaming performance on linux is much
poorer than it is on windows. That's a fact and does not need any log or
conf files to be provided. Although the title is a bit misleading as the
2d and video performance is quite snappy in the current 2.8 driver.

Aka a workaround is to set the WLAN AP to use channel other than 13
or/and set the channel width to 20Mhz.
If the problem happens just sometimes this could be because the AP being
set to auto channel selection and selects channel 13 for current
session.
