madboy, I think you are having a different issue. In my case everything
works as expected and the problem is that Network Manager does not wait
enough time for my mobile phone to establish a GPRS connection. An easy
solution to my problem would be an option to manually specify a timeout
for pppd
Confirming that I've experienced this bug and that installing the
package vlc-plugin-pulse has resolved the issue in evidently all media
contexts (e.g., DVD, audio files, video files) where it was segfaulting
before. Whooo thanks Launchpad! :)

I came to think of a few pieces of additional information that might be useful
for the upstream developers. They might ask for it, but you may also upload it
right away:
1. Kernel Mode Setting is now used in Karmic, so it is actually a kernel module
that takes care of selecting the resolution.
I can confirm the same behavior with Leopard 10.5.7. Very annoying :/

Major Kernel stack in Non-VM host when using more then one vcpu. But

I am facing this in Jaunty Ubuntu 9.04 64-bit. I installed the server
selecting English and installed ltsp-server-standalone using apt-get
install. I am testing LTSP on Ubuntu Server 9.04 - 64-bit + ubuntu
desktop 9.04 on a HP XW4600 workstation with 2GB RAM.

I was hoping that I've done the trick. The issue is that the
10-laptop-panel-mgmt-policy.fdi is loaded before
10-sony-laptop-brightness.fdi (which delete the wrong sysfspath).
