This isn't actually really the same as the other ones since they appear to be
about not being able to get the icon to appear whereas this is about not being
able to minimise to tray by clicking the icon.
I can confirm this problem. I know that I was able to use the garmin-gps
driver with 2.6.27 and 2.6.30. I believe that I also could use it for
the earlier revisions of 2.6.31; however, I have not been able to
confirm this.

should be configured to output by default to pulse fallback to alsa.

Just wanted to add that for me (Jaunty, all updates as of today) X/GDM
won't start correctly if the tablet is plugged in. Also I got X crashing
when trying to start a new console (Terminator) while the tablet is
plugged in. And yes, unplugging the tablet also hangs and then restarts
X.

That's pretty much the problem. I cannot reproduce it. I'm not sure how
can valgrind help. Finally the most chalenging thing to do is to debug
gvfs separately from nautilus, because it's fine.

Forgot to add: I'm using an Aiptek SlimTablet 600U (Model WCK-C121) and
have NOT installed xserver-xorg-input-aiptek but xserver-xorg-input-
wacom (the tablet also uses the wacom kernel module). The problem
seems to be the same though. So it might have nothing to do with the
specific input driver.
