For all that are interested, here is a status update: fteqcc was taken
over by the Debian/Ubuntu Games Team and the required svn snapshot was
pulled and uploaded to the pool. The package is currently available
through Debian testing (squeeze) and unstable (sid) and also was already

I wasnt able to get it on a USB stick using unetbootin, I guess it was because
Karmic used GRUB2.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Oen software-store
2) Click in the search bar
3) Start typing an application name (ie. geany)
Result: the 'g' 9is entered into the search textbox, however it looses
focus immediately and so the 'eany' is not

Anyway, one moment ago I have upgraded Phatch to version
0.2.0.bzr1045-0ubuntu1~9.10~ppa1 and it works properly - so bug is
solved.
