Bugs,
I have recently changed Computer Janitor so that it is rather more
careful about what to suggest for removal. The problem was that it was
considering all common third-party packages as uninteresting to the
user, which caused a lot of people to accidentally remove stuff they
care about.
The fix
By child items I mean that there would be a parent Get Software item
that showed free and paid software intermingled, with child items for if
you just wanted to view one or the other. So in the normal Get
Software section, it would still be necessary to show the price on
individual application
If the janitor shows nothing to clean, then it doesn't find anything
wrong in your system. That's probably a good thing.
The button should be greyed out in that case, though. I'll retitle the
bug to indicate that as the problem.
pvendeyse, please file a separate bug about your problem, as I

It seems that the CUPS-PDF backend uses ghostscript as the 'real'
backend, and ghostscript (as far as I can tell) currently doesn't offer
any way of setting the metadata. If it did (or will at some point),
then I believe an interface to set this metadata could be added to the
CUPS-PDF backend.
