Sorry, I completely disagree. The value of cups-pdf is it works across
applications. The most typical use case for me is printing something
from Firefox which does not provide the ability to save to pdf itself.
Martin's logic for closing this bug is flawed.

I have Thunderbird runing in Ubuntu and WinXP using the same message
files so I can work from either OS. This problem is happening only in
Ubuntu and started, in my case, yesterday Aug 31st after I made some
Ubuntu updates.

I'm having the same problem here, using Kubuntu 9.04 with VirtualBox
2.1.4-dfsg-1ubuntu3.
Kubuntu 9.10 running under VirtualBox frequently reports filesystem
errors when starting. Running e2fsck doesn't really seem to find
anything wrong, but then the virtual machine will restart properly.
Unfortunately you can't once you've repaired the filesystem and rebooted
:-( This means I'll have to mark the bug Invalid as there's no way to
get the data we need to debug it.
If it happens again, please do reopen the bug and attach that
information.

By manually setting radeon.modeset=1 in the grub config file, I was able

This was a recent change in GTK. Instead of just throwing a warning, it
