reinstalling. During reinstallation, I'm prompted to decide what to do
with the existing smb.conf. I make a choice (use package maintainer's
version) and subsequently it crashes, both after making this choice, and

In clc/modules/wsstack/src/main/java/com/eucalyptus/ws/util/HmacUtils.java if
there is no timezone indication in the ISO8601 timestamp, it uses server local
time. So the message

evaluates all ISO8601 timestamps as local time, whether the final Z is present

I guess in previous versions what happened was that winbindd wasn't
split in different modules, so everything (including ldap) worked from
the same binaries.
In newer versions you need the modules for each idmap backend, and
ubuntu doesn't have ldap nor tdb :-(

Hi. I experienced this exact problem in Ubuntu 9.04, today.
While attempting to try to fix it I killed my network connection somehow
and had to remove purge package network-manager.
All is well now, though. For anyone that's a newbie like me, here's how
I fixed it.

2.6.31-10 partially improved this. Today it only 2 times slower on
download and about 4 times slower on upload. But the whole system
sometimes hangs on, so no keyboard/mouse/etc doesn't work, and then
leaves it after are minute or something.

KVM/QEMU (current kvm package from ubuntu reps). While running a
virtualized system that has control of the mouse, the screensaver
doesn't notice any keypresses or mouse input as long as the mouse is
grabbed by KVM's SDL window, and
