Yippy! My eeepc got his wifi back! I installed the compat-wireless
2.6.32-rc1 on a 2.6.31.11 kernel and it works fine. The older version of
the compat-wireless wouldn't compile on my machine. Thanks for your

I still have this problem in 9.10 Beta - just tested yesterday.
It seems the problem is located in either kdelibs5 or
gwenview/konqueror.

As discussed on IRC, the changes are bug fixes and aren't too many of
them either, and QA on intel's side looked very thorough. The package
was tested in x-updates PPA before as well. The only new feature was
support for b43 which we planned anyway.
