well , i am trying to be as detailed as possible .
usually i use 8.10 Intrepid ibex distribution.after installation i click

crtl+w seems to be pretty common across many applications to close a
window. gnome-font-viewer doesn't use this, so a user has to learn a
different key combination or use the mouse to close the dialog.

A manually triggered update will sometimes silently update in the
background with no interactive feedback. The user is left with a
"Waiting for other tasks" dialogue. The update will continue as normal
but the user is never informed as to

In Epiphany 2.28.0 if you enable the spell checker misspelled words show
up with a red underline. In all other apps right clicking on the word
shows suggestions, but not with epiphany. With epiphany you have to
first highlight the word; even wors

looks like glibc 2.10.1 is in Karmic, but

says that the fallocate*() functions are new in glibc 2.11.
We should revisit this in 10.4... this would be an improvement.
