into cryptsetup; if another package is more appropriate (like udev), I'm

careful. blkid has not been used on previous releases to detect
partitions so you can't make any assumptions how patched blkid will be

While trying to add new menu items i get a new permisson problem.
I have done the following: sudo chown username:username /home/username/.local/

The problem persists. I have to install the alsa-snapshot everytime the
kernel is upgraded... Also, from time to time, the volume levels are
automatically muted and the only way to access them is through alsa-
mixer.

I agree! While once essential, trying to run acpid on my EeePC has
caused me nothing but misery in 9.10. It's impossible to debug problems
with ACPID because HAL is trying to replicate almost all of the same
things. I'm happy to say that everything works fine without ACPID

updates and should fix some of the dependencies errors. I had no
problems updating or installing the package on my test environments for
Karmic.

python-apt 0.7.9~exp2ubuntu11~launchpad0
This has been pulled in as part of the Launchpad development PPA.

Update-manager give me an error message to disable my third party repository
