I managed to get it working.
First I had to unload the bttv module with the following command:
sudo rmmod bttv
Secondly I reloaded the bttv module with my own specs:
sudo modprobe bttv card=10 tuner=55
I say theres still a bug though. The tuner is hardly ever properly
detected.

I am able to select either of the tabs, however it makes no difference to
the sound - i loose the mic and the audio playback, a reboot brings back the
playback but either starts at mute or no sound. if it starts at mute the
mic will usually initiate and the bars will move with a sound, however loo
I'm currently using the open source driver. It works like a charm but
this and video playback are the problems that drag the experience. So
I'll wait for the drivers to get better then.

I have a fresh install of 9.10-RC and registered with ubuntu one after
installation.
Uploading files through the web page works, but I can not see my files in the
Ubuntu One folder in Nautilis and the ubuntuone-client applet (v1.02) can

gJots a long time ago. I did have some brief email correspondence with
the author a long time ago. I believe this one-man project has been
abandoned due to the lack of time on his part and a lack of volunteers

When doing so I get a message sayi9ng it crached because of a assert
error but it can't be reported since the message was not found. This is
the reason I did post this by running apport manually. I can add the
.crach file though.
