I tried the karmic daily-build live cd from today and have a similar problem
with network-manager 0.7.996. Unfortunately I can't use ubuntu-bug because I
have no network at all when the error occurs.
It seems that the wifi stick connects to the access point but fails to obtain
an ip address.

It looks like what I originally posed was the way to manually hard-code
the language fields in the .glade file. Attached is an updated diff
file to be used if you want to build from source. This uses the glade
stock_items, which seem to have been removed as part of the patch when
submitted
Sorry, the firmware files are of course stored in /lib/firmware.
And make sure to backup the old files before you try this!

Looks like both logs were done on amd64 machines. Eclipse starts a new
process on launch on that arch, which means that valgrind unfortunately

Follow up to my previous comment: After checking the settings on my
Fuze, I found the USB mode was set to Auto Detect. Changing the mode
to MSC fixed the problem for me -- the Fuze and the microSD card are
both recognized and mounted now.

NM 0.8 does not bring down ethernet connections on exit anymore. I

At system boot if i see the message time out waiting for DSP ready
mythtv can't look channels. After 30 minutes or so, i can wath tv
normally. If message time out waiting for DSP ready don't appears at
boot time mythtv works correctly.
