HP dv2140eu here with broadcom. Installed Karmic 64-bit Kubuntu there.
On live, I was able to install the drivers (b43, I think, I have no idea
what's STA). I did it with no network connection, I think.
But now on installed system, with wired network I have the problems

I don't think this bug is related to the config file. Since you say
wifi is working anyway, it is likely that you are not using WiFi Radar.
Try uninstalling WiFi Radar and see if you still have wifi access.
