Hi, I just followed o.cornu's instructions for alsamixer in Karmic on an
NC10 and I confirm that it does the job for me.
After tabbing, alsamixer shows 'Capture', that I set to 77, 'Ext Mic'
that I set to 67, 'Input So' that should be set to 'Internal Mic' and
'Int Mic' that I also set to 67. I
It takes exactly 10 seconds for a connection to any new web page on 9.10.
Once in a web site directory things seem slower too but I cannot confirm this.
The older version takes .2 seconds for the exact same site ( I have two hard
drives).

The most obvious way by adding the printer in System Settings - Printer

When i press the Fn+F3 i expect it to trigger the xrandr second screen
magic. it is labelled with a picture of a laptop and an monitor next to

Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn` and `dmesg`, and attach your
/var/log/Xorg.0.log (and maybe Xorg.0.log.old) file from after reproducing this
issue. If you're using a custom /etc/X11/xorg.conf please attach that as well.
