Here's a revised version that fixes the initial bug, as well as
defaulting to homedir on remote when pressing [TAB] after :.

A workaround is to kill gnome-screensaver, but it's not restarted
automatically, so screen locking (Ctrl+Alt+L) doesn't work anymore.
Is there some trick to see which password is actually sent to the
underlying code? I suspect the problem can be with some sort of garbling
because of the keyboard

Firefox 3.5 still has this problem - not only on Ubuntu. I experience the same

I have the same problem, but I have only one soundcard: Soundblaster
Audigy ZS 2.
When I start qjackctl (without starting jackd yet!) there is no more
sound from applications like totem or system sounds. Totem just stops at

When I drag a window to bottom with enough speed, window goes down workspace
which is I don't have. If I increase rows number I can see them.

Further information:
Using a completely random xorg.conf file, containing only garbage, does
not produce the problem - gdm continues trying to start the X server,
but it doesn't interrupt the text login prompt.
The problem only arises if X successfully loads its config and attempts
to take over

Karmic.
Now my question is, will there also be this package as amd64-version,
because my system is amd64 Karmic Koala.
