Yes; this is still present in Tomboy 1.0.0-0ubuntu2 (the version in
Karmic). Typing at a normal rate still chews CPU, and the process
sometimes spikes CPU usage and becomes nonresponsive. It doesn't seem to

Tried it out again. At first I printed a document from OpenOffice.org.
This worked ok. I then tried to print a document from Document Viewer

One final bit of information: Last night sync was progressing nicely...
I went to bed at about 12:30am and the service was still downloading
files.
sometime between 12:30am and 6:00am the sync halted/stopped. About 500+
files had synced. Not the full 14,000+ files.

Is this still an issue for you? You should not have to add a file to
your ~/Ubuntu One folder for files on the server to show up after
reinstalling the client. The only time this would be an issue
(currently) is if you add files via the web and have your client
running. In this case,

typical suspect for the responsible package would be the linux kernel,
but you have the same that came with the released distribution, so it

This is a known limitation, we depend on having the gnome-keyring
available and that seems to drag in X. I'm going to close this bug out
for Karmic, and we'll keep in mind that being able to run in an SSH
session is a feature request. Thanks for using Ubuntu One!

I am using a fresh Ubuntu installation with Compiz turned off. About
twice a day the entire system freezes right after I drag a terminal
window around on the desktop. The computer then responds to pings, but

I had opened about four sync requests like this I shouldn't have when
you were at UDS. I think this is the last of them though. Don't worry
I have learned my lesson and wont be doing it again.

I've gotten this once more, and it was a cron job but I don't know which one,
by the time I dug that far into it, it was done.
I've since reinstalled clean to a new HDD, hopefully it won't come back.
