This bug affects me as well. It is an issue on totem/gstreamer where it
skips many frames, but the audio plays. In vlc/ffmpeg video plays for a
semi second then freezes up, while audio continues.

Sorry, I totally forgot to mention that I'm Hungarian, so the texts -
including the icon texts - are in Hungarian language. If I start the
program from the command line with LANG=C tomboy, the icons fit in the
window, but in Hungarian the icon texts use too much space.

Yes, it occurs during a guest session as well.
Using gconf-editor, I followed that path and right clicked on layouts
[]. I then clicked edit key. There are no values, either us or us
mac.

I decided to reopen this bug, since it has reappeared in Karmic Koala.
The file association is missing again. Opening .asc files runs Gedit,

two Optiplex 760 USFF with Karmic, and I don't see this problem (I
sometimes get a different kind of corruption, though). Also, unless you

It seems there has been a regression somewhere between hardy and karmic.
In karmic, gnome-app-install does not suggest any codec package as being
able to play indeo 5 video. Can you described how this bug was fixed and

I used Sound Juicer on Jaunty to rip the majority of my CDs, and then
Picard to do some tag clean-up, so this bug got me. I wrote a small
utility to fix the MusicBrainz tags (attached).
Note that you must have python and python-mutagen installed, and I only
tested this code with python2.6.

After restoring a file that I have just deleted, Nautilus can't display it in
its original directory (the throbber is always turning and never finished).
I can access other folder without any problem.
I try to close nautilus and open it again

I unchecked Keep aligned on the desktop context menu, but whenever my

I'm marking this Fix Release for Lucid as the patch is in 2.6.32. As
for Karmic, the best approach would be to get the patch submitted and
accepted into the upstream stable 2.6.31.y tree. We'll then get the
patch automatically when we rebase Karmic with upstream stable. Thanks.
