After screen saver and, and times to times (not always "Helas") the monitor

Can confirm for update 3.5.6 to 3.5.7 and all the ones before.. Really
annoying. I speculated it could have to do with sponsorship issues, but it
seems to be an ubuntu specific problem.
My workaround is to use the "quicksearch" approach and assign shortcuts to my
engines, which is faster anyways
This is not a bug of network manager. This is a bug in your network :)

I have a color-calibrated system and load the icc color profile at
startup with dispwin (from ArgyllCMS).
Just starting gwenview messes up the color setting by re-setting the
color profile (or by loading another one, I don't know).

I love RawTherapee, too, and I'm very happy that it is under GPL at
last. Since it is the only free RAW converter with a reasonable user
interface, it should definitely be packaged for Ubuntu!

Same problem here. It helps to resize the window with the mouse once.
Afterwards every switch to fullscreen mode is no problem any more.

Running ssh-add dosn't work around the issue, no graphical prompt is
launched.
