The issue is that the icon displayed in the applet's menu doesn't do a
good job of conveying the fact that an available network is "adhoc" (
which means it's another computer providing the network as opposed to an
access point ).
Could you please post the AMI and aki/ari that you're running with ?

Ubuntu One briefly connects on system startup. Then disconnects. I have
one document under Files, AA. When I update it in my Documents/AA folder
and click on the Ubuntu One icon in the panel bar it briefly connects
and then disconnects.
After removing the -DENABLE_LPS lines correctly ( hadn't removed it from
the *se section before), my driver works correctly. I am able to
connect, with WPA, and get very decent speeds (both AC and battery).

I can confirm this bug in Xubuntu Lucid, as of 2010-01-29, installed on
a i686 system (not 64bit). Since the shortcut is actually adding two
keypresses, it can not be used. Meta and Alt are the same key on most
keyboards, and can not both be held at the same time.

One last plea for someone to fix this and get it into a ubuntu 9.10 repo

Yesterday (28 Jan 2010) I ran apt-get upgrade on a Debian unstable
distribution. Finally got to reboot this morning and I get a similar
problem to that posted at the URL below, which Felix has already
responded to (just found this after posting the also-affects bit). Am

Hello! I am having problems with the Browser plugin in Luma. When I
press a key on the keyboard, the Entries pane (which lists all of the
