encrypt/decrypt/sign/verify files. After upgrading to karmic, it no

It looks like Ubuntu One crashed while rebooting. Thank you for filing this bug
report and letting us know. Are you experiencing any problems, other than this
crash, while using Ubuntu One? Are you able to put files in the Ubuntu One
folder and they get synced to your web folder, ect.

Well, problem solved.
The problem was I moved the database files and MySQL doesn't like that
(excerpt from /var/log/daemon.log):

autospawn = no does not help at all.
The only way I know that prevents pulseaudio from starting, is to move the
/usr/bin/pulseaudio binary away from it’s location.
This allows the system to start up normally.
I then run:
(sudo mv /usr/bin/pa /usr/bin/pulseaudio); LANG=C pulseaudio -
Oh, forgot to mention that I used ext3 for the system partition and
added the sync option in /etc/fstab, so hopefully nothing was lost
when writing to the log file..

according to that report the bug is fixed with smbclient 2:3.4.4~dfsg-1
and in lucid we have 2:3.4.5~dfsg-1ubuntu2 so it should be fixed there

This is affecting me too, also in an installation on a physical machine.
The error does *not* occur when installing without proper network
connection (I suspect the error comes from a package updated during
installation). But it *does* when dist-upgrading afterwards.

What's this phy0? In Karmic with kernel 2.6.31-20 the messages that
flood the logs still persist but now read e.g. kernel: [1739.005114]
phy0: radar (freq: 2427 MHz). Other freq numbers are 2417, 2412. That
produces more systemload than necessary, slows down the system and
wastes disk space.

Like you, my openafs module is now failing to load after the kernel

When you say you needed to install linux-headers-2.6.31-19 manually, how
is this done? I assume you have to rebuild openafs manually as well?

After or while playing a video with a subtitle file loaded (srt in my
case) if you try to open another video without subtitles (double click
in nautilus or drag'n'drop inside the player) you get a window saying
Can't play a text file without video.
