I have the same problem with icecast + exaile (Internal data flow error) /
Totem Rhythmbox (buffering and buffering and buffering...). about 10sec
before changing tracks.
But, vlc works well without errors. O_o why?

(0x056a:0x0065). xev seems to produce events for all its buttons and the

Since then I am using a newer laptop. On this new laptop I can run
either the radeon free driver or the fglrx proprietary driver since both
drivers support the Mobility Radeon HD 3650 included in this new laptop.
With the fglrx driver and its dynamic frequency adjustment the laptop
can run twice
I am going to close this bug again since it has been fixed by this

Thanks a lot for this info. I'm not sure anymore whether I was running
on AC power when I saw the symptoms. I remember that I accidentally
disconnected the power cord at one point and realized only later; that

I've read through other bug reports with similar issues, but this seems

I've been having strange problems with Karmic. (I've never really had
any problems with Ubuntu on my laptop since the dapper days).

Nm-applet still crashing, but connection to 802.1x is possible. Here is
my solution: when dialog appears to enter password, you can enter
anything, doesn't matter, because nm-applet crashes right after you
click connect. Then open console and run nm-applet . The you can choose
again 802.1x
I think its casued by the gnome-keyring bug that have arised recently
with the update of gnome-keyring from git.

Ok,
it works under gnome!
But for this small machine (only 512 MB of RAM and a 500 MHz AMD Geode), LXDE
should be much better:
I tried to install LXDE+OpenBox, but only the 800x480 works!
I really can't undersatnd why, do you have any ideas?

geode driver do not display
You can try to boot into the recovery mode (netroot !) and uninstall
that particular package with sudo apt-get purge packagename and to
sudo dpkg --configure -a if necessary due to the upgrade interruption.
Maybe yo'll find an upgraded package of that one on
http://packages.ubuntu.com;. Search for
