Actually, this is an Upstart issue, which I can confirm as of Upstart
0.6.5-4.
/etc/init.d/mysql is merely a symlink for the general file /lib/init
/upstart-job, which use the same case to catch both reload and force-
reload, using the variable COMMAND to refer to the actual command being
used.

BTW, to reply further to #5, the difference between the
@NoOp: In my PPA, I pulled in a couple of patches from the ALSA mailing
list to make the sound on my Vostro 1015 work, and the author of those
patches has the same model as well. Those patches were integrated into
the 1.0.22.1 release of ALSA, which in turn has been integrated into
just though I would mention, just testing Lucid live cd now and this
problem does not exist!

As to my previous post: A memory leak fix was released recently in pulseaudio
(v1:0.9.19-0ubuntu4.1), it's available in karmic-updates now. It might have
been the cause of our problems. Time will tell.

I'm still having the same issue while trying to use any web browser,
takes forever to resolve a name, have to reload every page twice until I
get it.
I have ipv6 disable:
cat /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/all/disable_ipv6
1
Also Firefox have IPv6 Disabled.
But tcpdump still report IP6 stuff:

i can confirm this, after connecting to wifi hung my laptop (ThinkPad
X200) I forced a shutdown (power button 4 sec), after booting again, at
